Day 3

Day 3-Not a Charm

Joshua woke up with a 102 degree fever this morning. I don’t really know if he has a virus or if it could be teething or what. Once we got the fever down, he was happy and played a lot of the day, but it kept going back up. We went and bought souvenirs this morning and then spent the day with Sam and his family at their house. They were very sweet and generous. After the meal, I tried to help clean up. I thought I knew how to wash dishes until I tried to wash the dishes of a huge meal for seven people in one very small sink.

The First Step in Experiencing Christ

Before you can experience Christ on a daily basis, you must first come to know Him as your Lord and Savior. Here's how:

1. Admit you are a sinner. Romans 3:23-For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

2. Realize that your sin separates you from God. Romans 6:23a-For the wages of sin is death.

3. Believe that Christ died for your sin and was raised from the dead. He paid the price for your sin. Romans 5:8-But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. / Romans 6:23b-but the gift of god is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

4. Accept His FREE gift. Romans 10:13-For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

All you have to do is simply believe on the Lord Jesus and ask Him to save you. Romans 10:9-That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you have not done so already, I encourage you to do this NOW, before it is too late.
